It's amazing the talented people that will come together to celebrate a good cause.
Three fantastic bands have collaborated to form the base of The ReEvolution Day Arkestra.
They are The New Kings - a soul-shakin' liberation rock band with jazz/punk punch
and a message to take back the streets; Samba Elegua - a 20+ member afro-brasilian
percussion ensemble that dares to fuse samba with polka, rap, funk, rock, reggae and more;
and The Kensington Horns Community Band - formed and led by saxophone legend Richard Underhill
to bring amateurs and pros of all ages together to play jazz in the streets for P.S. Kensington.
Beyond the core group, all are welcome to join this giant acoustic marching band
that has livened up the streets with raucous musical demonstrations on World Carfree Day,
International Buy Nothing Day, and Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington.
